LG TinyMCE not always showing in Firefox but fine in other windows browsers

I’ve seen that the TinyMCE extensions have caused problems for other people but I can’t figure out why my LG TinyMCE only shows some of the time in Firefox!

I know about the 1st party TinyMCE extension, but I really want to be able to use the compression to improve the speed.

I’m using Win Vista and FF 3.0.5 and it appears to work OK in Chrome, Safari, Opera 9, IE7 AND Firefox 2.0.0.20 (not tested on a Mac).

Basically Firebug highlights a Javascript error before the page has even finished loading telling me that tinyMCE is not defined. A page refresh sometimes works - other times I have to disable the cache for it to appear. Its happening on both publish and edit pages.

And when it does appear, it seems much slower than the other browsers!

Anyone else found this issue or any suggestions as to a fix?

I’m using EE 1.6.6 with TinyMCE 3.2.1.1 (Nov 2008).
