Want to upload large (approx. 2MB) zip file through publish form

I want to have the ability to upload large zip file to my posts, so through the template linking to the associated zip…
I tried this: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/90230/ but it is failing at 9%, even when I use smaller files with this it is coming up 100% complete but failed…
Has anyone a simple (client friendly) solution for this?

Forgot to mention, my problem with the standard file upload is that it is telling me the file is over the maximum size for my configuration??

That most likely is not a limitation with EE but with your hosting configuration. You could try to ask your hoster to raise the limit - but other side effects might arise (timeout of the script for example).
