Forms not "sticky" with LG Polls extension turned on

Usually all forms in EE are “sticky”… meaning that, for example, if the user doesn’t submit all the required information for the registration form, they get an error page explaining the problem, they click on “return to entry”, and the information that they did type in is still there in the form for them to edit. The SAEFs on a site also work this same way.

This behavior stops working if I have the LG Polls Controller enabled. Basically, when “return to entry” is clicked, all the information they already added to the form is gone.

I’ve been in discussions with Leevi on this and he isn’t sure what in his code would be breaking this feature. I was hoping to run it by tech support/developers to see if they can shed any light on this.

Thanks!

Shannon:

This could be browser specific, do you see this in all browsers?

Since it’s using a 3rd party Module, I’m going to move this to the module forums, as it’s a better fit.

Hi Greg,

This is happening in both IE and in Firefox.

Thanks, Shannon
