I’m embedding this into each of my articles.

{lg_social_bookmarks title="{title}" permalink="{comment_url_title_auto_path}" sites="Digg|del.icio.us"}
    SHARE
      {social_sites}
          <a href="http://{social_site_url}" title="{social_site_name} this article">_            {site_url}themes/cp_global_images/lg_social_bookmarks/favicons/{social_site_img_url}_          </a>
        {/social_sites}
  {/lg_social_bookmarks}

It works with the exception of the sites= parameter. I’m sure I’m doing something obvious wrong. Any ideas?? Thanks!

(PS: Thanks Leevi for such a great, free extension!)

Hey BrittanyA,

I have uploaded the beta of LG Social Bookmarks 2.0.3 to Github. You can download the latest here: http://github.com/newism/lg.social_bookmarks.ee_addon/tree/master.

The sites param is fixed as well as a couple of other bugs.

Hey Leevi! I am having a similar issue with your LG Social Bookmarks extension but instead of the “sites” parameter it is the “title” parameter. I am assuming the ability to add the optional title parameter to the {lg_social_bookmarks} tag is so that you can customize the title of the article that is passed to the social networking website correct? If so this is what I set and I keep getting the default {title} content for the entry:

{lg_social_bookmarks title="Zaytuna College {title} Campaign" permalink="{path=donate/campaign}{url_title}"}
      {social_sites}
          <a href="http://{social_site_url}" title="Share on {social_site_name}">_            /themes/cp_global_images/lg_social_bookmarks/favicons/{social_site_img_url}_          </a>
        {/social_sites}
  {/lg_social_bookmarks}

So for the title instead of “Zaytuna College Count Me In! Campaign” I am getting just “Count Me In!”. Any thoughts? Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug? Thanks for the great extension!

Yikes! I’m afraid I have yet another problem. The permalink parameter was functioning perfectly until a few moments ago. I’m using permalink=”{comment_url_title_auto_path}” and now I’m receiving this message:

Error

There is no “permalink” parameter in the {lg_social_bookmarks} tag. Please check the documentation for more information.

Any ideas? Thank you!

re: brittanyA

The post #2 above has a nice solution to the permalink issue. He’s got two {}{} next to each other. Might work for you!
