LG TinyMCE WYSIWYG Edit Issue

I’ve updated an LG TinyMCE WYSIWYG installation on a few sites to the current 1.3.3 release.

All installations seem to be functioning OK with the exception of one that has me scratching my head.

On the EDIT page for a given entry with an LG TinyMCE WSYIWYG field … the content disappears. It is still there and shows up on the live site. But, in the EDIT panel, the text area is blank. Nothing appears in HTML mode either.

Color me absolutely confounded.

Any thoughts? I’ve tried reverting the installation back to 1.3.2 with no success.

Update:

First attempt: Disabling all extensions had no effect.

Second attempt: I deleted the db tables via PHPMyAdmin, reinstalled EE 1.6.7, and reinstalled the TinyMCE 1.3.3 extension.

Problem seemed to be corrected. After I made a few changes and updated the entry, the content in the WSYIWIG text area vanished again. Content displays in Preview mode as well as on the front-end, but NOT in the EDIT window.

I’m out of ideas.

I know this probably has nothing to do with it, but just in case,

Is this happening in a particular browser only? Or most likely, it is the same problem in multiple browsers? Which browsers are you using?

Primarily Firefox, but the issue appeared in Safari as well prior to the most recent reinstall on 2/10.

Any luck yet?

Just another thought, something with the javascript in those browsers? Anyone doing the same thing that you’re doing from another computer can reproduce the problem?

Why I ask, is that it appears the database … wait, did you say … you do see the details inside the database, right? So you know it is physically (heh) there, but just not showing in the browser. You know what I’m saying?
