an excerpt question - HTML strip/EExcerpt/Word Limit

I’m looking for a plugin that strips all html AND text EXCEPT text wrapped in a p tag.
I’m sure I could alter an existing plugin to do this, if only I knew how. Any ideas?

You could possibly use tag_limit as a base for your needs, if it doesn’t already do what you require

That’s perfect! It didn’t strip ALL html (client had an img within a p tag), but I used it in combination with html_strip and it’s great!
