Static Field Extension - error?

Anyone have an account to log into the media cow site to download the static field extension? i registered but still have not gotten the activation email. and It requires one to be logged in to download…

nevermind. i just tried to register again. this time it sent the activation email. thanks though.

Ok as noted in the other thread…the link is dead! I would love to get my hands on the (working) version of this add on for a client project I am working on right now… :(

Yep- sorry, the site is in a complete state of disarray at the moment. And will be for a bit!

I’m attaching what I had handy in the download folder there- named ‘new static field extension’. In truth, I don’t recall what’s new. It might have a settings cp now- take a look when you install it.

Bummer. It’s still not working for me. I loaded in this version, even disabled and reenabled the plugin. I put a value in for a field, tried both a text field and a textarea field, no go. Shut off Gypsy on that field and it still didn’t bring in the default value I put in the Static Field settings…

I’m on 1.6.7 with various extensions, including Gypsy (v.1.0.6), LG TinyMCE (v.1.3.3), File, by Mark Huot (v.3.1.1) (modded with fixes from the forums), REEOrder (v.1.0), FieldFrame (v.1.2.0), Moxiecode Authentication (v.0.2.0), and Text: Improved (v.1.0.3).

Any ideas?

I’ll have to take a look at my setup this week, as the extension works for me. For some reason I’m thinking I had to toy with a setting or something to get it to work, but I could be wrong. Will let you know when I get to take a look.
