I’ve installed the TinyMCE extension, with the following configuration:
mode : "textareas",
theme : "advanced",
plugins : "table,advlink,spellerpages,paste,iespell",
theme_advanced_buttons1: "bold, italic, bullist, undo, redo, link, unlink, cleanup, removeformat",
theme_advanced_buttons2: "",
theme_advanced_buttons3: "",
relative_urls : false
When I upload an image with EE’s built in image uploader, the image doesn’t show up. Instead, the code is converted to text. So when I choose Embedded in Entry, the code is placed on the right place, but no image shows up. After saving, the code is converted to marked up text.
I tried adding image to the plugins- and buttonslist, but when I click on the imagebutton, I get this pop-up where I need to enter an URL and filename manually.. Is there an (easy) solution to use images and tinymce together? Preferably with EE’s built in Image Uploader.
Is there a way to get the images working?
Erik, I’m not sure about getting EE’s image uploader working with this, but I’ve had solid, consistent results with Moxiecode FileManager integrated with TinyMCE.
Hi EXP Design,
don’t mind me asking how you got Moxiecode file manager to work with TinyMCE, when I click on image icon on TinyMCE it asks for full url? rather than browsing to a file.
Am I missing a setting maybe?
Thanks for any help on this.
