Hello

Sorry for bugging you guys regarding the image sizer plugin but I’ve a question as to the quality of the pictures - as I have been using phpThumb before, I kind of know what I have to expect when it comes to the quality of the resized pictures - using image sizer, I just don’t get the quality I’d like to get although I’ve already set the quality parameter to 100 - could you think of any other reason why the quality of my resized pictures is kind of disappointing - am I doing anything wrong? Please check it out: http://mmjaeger.com/index.php/travel/ - the pictures just kind of look pixelated, don’t they?!

Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S. Does anybody know whether the resizing process of image sizer preserves the EXIF info like latitude and longitude?

Bump - although I have tried several things, I didn’t get any further yet - the quality of the images are still rather disappointing - to me it looks as they were compressed way too much. Hope somebody has an idea how to debug this and get better results when resizing my pictures.

thanks again

Finally, I figured out what the problem is/was - I the EE main upload settings I had max. height and width set to 800 - now, when I was uploading pictures of 640x480 they were unfortunately resized to 800x600 resulting in pixelated pictures which is obvious. I think EE should leave pictures untouched that are smaller than the settings in the upload preferences or am I missing something here?
