Really appreciate FieldFrame Brandon, almost everything has been working perfect from the start. Nice work and a very welcome addition to EE.
Got a small problem with FF Checkbox on one site, the checkbox is always checked once you checked it the first time. Anybody had any similar problems like this? (The check box lives a lonely life by itself and not in a FF Matrix…)
Thanks for this great extension. 😊
I have one problem: when I press update, when i update an entry, I get the following message:
The following errors were encountered
* There was no category provided. Please go back and provide a category.
(I don’t use category’s, I use FF and ngen-file-field) Please help.
Edit: I converted LG Data Matrix made Custom Weblog Fields to FF. And disabled LG Data Matrix. This went well and all is showing as it should be. But I can’t change any entry or save any new entry. See the error above.

Grab the latest checkbox/Fieldframe files from github. Brandon uploaded a fix for this recently.
Hey Brandon
Amazing addon - thanks! Just starting to use FF Matrix and noticed that there’s a problem with a clash with Textile Editor Helper (TEH) (v.1.1.0). My ‘Add Row’ button doesn’t show until I disable Textile Editor Helper.
Don’t suppose you know of any way of getting the two to play ball together?
Firebug is showing me this (see attachment).
Cheers
Jim

Hi, Did you fix your problem? I’m having the same problem with FF Checkbox. I am using the latest FF 1.08.
Also, I noticed with the FF Checkbox Group: I have an entry with 3 items checked in this group. I go edit this entry and uncheck those 3 items so nothing is checked. Click Update. I can see in the Preview page shows up after Update that the 3 items are still checked. I go back into the entry, and yes, those 3 items are still checked.
Any one? Thank you!
@SixMedia - I hesitate to respond to someone flaunting such a blatant Six Apart logo ripoff, but in case anyone else is having that issue, I believe it was fixed in TEH 1.2.

The “sticky checkbox” issues will be solved in FieldFrame 1.1, coming in the next couple days.
@dvancouver - How bout like, right now? 😊
FieldFrame 1.1 is out the door!

Regarding SAEF w/ FieldFrame, does anybody know how to get a form that generates a new upload box similar to how it works in Gmail?
Example: When you compose in Gmail, one field appears at a time, with an option to “Attach another field.”
@mr_dimsum - An FF Matrix field with an nGen File column would give you that “Gmail” effect.
And regarding offsets, sure, why not? Added the ‘offset’ param on GitHub - http://github.com/brandonkelly/bk.fieldframe.ee_addon - let me know if it works 😊
@ Brandon
This sounds great! Will definitely have to give this a run over the next few days! Meanwhile, if anybody has any live examples of SAEF action, would love to check it out!
On a side note, does it replicate the styling and function of what it would be in the admin panel? For SAEF nGen File Field for example, while it replicates the Gmail effect, within the Admin CP, it also allows users to choose from an existing image. I’d like it to aesthetically and functionally look just like Gmail, a very standard and traditional upload field.
Will give this a go shortly and report back for those interested.
