Hi,

When I set preferences to my gallery and put Medium Sized Image Width x Height, they dont match at all!

I mean EE doesnt know what is Width and what is Height as far what i understand about those settings

I set Medium Sized Image Width x Height to 467 x 350 BUT when it resizes images, it doesnt know how to calculate Width OR Height. I get medium images that are 709px in width.

So it seems that this goes like: it takes the dimension from the first one that “comes to deadline” and make the medium based on the dimensions that came first into 467 or 350?

Its just my page layout gets messed up because of this and i really dont know what is the right solution to make desent sized medium images that doesnt brake layout but still are as bigs as possible.

I set the above pixel dimensions to preferences but with one image result was 350 x 709px…was not fun at all. If the max width is set, how i get over 700px images…

Dunno what i miss here but that doest work as it should work cos it takes the first and then fix the image into its dimensions.

Anycase i know your answer, there is nothing to do with this so thanks for the time for reading this!

Pete, when it comes to making medium sized images exactly the size you want, which is more important, width or height?

I’d tend to use the imgsizer plugin to manage the resizing.

Hi, width is the important one. I’ll have a look at that plugin, thanks!

Cheers: - Pete

I’m going to move this to the Plugins folder so we can get the rest of the community involved. It’s a really cool plugin.
