I am using the MSM and have duplicated a number of templates and sections to a second sub domain website.

I a using Mark Huot’s file extension for one of the weblogs. However, while is is working fine in the main default site I cannot upload files to the subsite. I have set the new server path to the upload directory (and checked it is correct) and I have set the new url in the General configuration.

When I select the file for upload it seems to upload okay but does not appear in the webpage and the source shows img src=”“

Any ideas what is happening?

Alli:

Can you please try a file upload with the file extension out of the mix please? I want to see if it’s an issue with the extension or an EE configuration problem.

Just using the direct ‘upload a file’ seems to be working okay

okay, so there seems to be a problem with using the File Extension on MSM. Since it’s a third party extension I can shift it down to the extensions forum for community brainstorming.

Please let me know.

I’m having this issue, too. Anything new come up about it’s workability with MSM?

Actually, I used the custom_field workaround method (changing the custom field name for secondary sites).

As seen here.
