Some weblog entries don’t appear

For some reason the code below brings back the latest news story for only some weblog entries.
The code is:
{exp:weblog:entries limit="1" weblog="news" news_client="{segment_4}"}
{title}
{news_body}
{/exp:weblog:entries}And when the url reads: http://outside-org.co.uk/index.php?/dev/test/news/spandau_ballet the latest news entry appears.
However, when it reads http://outside-org.co.uk/index.php?/dev/test/news/aeg_livemj
Nothing, nowt, nada, nil.
What is news_client?

It’s a custom field, this site is on 1.5.2 and have a plug-in that allows me to filter by custom field.
dhc, we can’t support the extension; however, I’d recommend adding dynamic=”off”. Whatever is in segment_3, EE is going to try to limit by that unless you do turn that off. =)
And of course, this custom field searching is available natively in the latest versions, which also include important security fixes, so I’d highly recommend you update soon.
I did try with dynamic=”off”, forgot to include that in the code. Doesn’t make any difference I’m afraid.
Alright, well, at this point it seems to be an extension related issue, so I’m going to move this down to the extensions forum. If you want to upgrade and try it with the built-in functionality, we can assist at that point.
