Hi Nathan,
I found that the culprit is Pinpoint extension by Kenny Myers; it does not play well with Show Categories extension.
Pinpoint is no longer available for download and debugging it proved complicated, so I created my own Show URL Titles extension which does the same and plays well with Show categories.
Good stuff! Wonder what the conflict was then… any ideas? Maybe we should combine all of these… I also have a view counts extension (http://github.com/nathanpitman/np.view_counts.ee_addon)!

Pinpoint extension run before Show Categories extension and after finishing its job unset all keys of $row array except the key ‘url_title’. Why those keys were unset by Pinpoint extension I was not able to find out.
Hi Nathan, I see you’re switching over your github files to your ninefour account. When will some of these plugins be available again? I’m getting Repository Down on this plugin, although the server status reports no outages:
