i swear ive never seen this before and if anyone could please help me figure this out. I will even link to the site so you can check it out yourself. (Disclaimer: this is just a domain i had already had up hosted for testing so I am using it to show the client whats going on, and another disclaimer… im NOT a designer)

anyway, so I am using Mikes file upload which works great. I have a custom field with the property of file, the author can upload a picture and the ee tags take care of placement of the picture for each post. Well in FF, opera, and pretty much any other browser all the images work great. For some reason in IE, and its only one of the images, shows a broken link. So I right clicked on the image got the properties and tried going directly to it in ie, still just get a red x. fire fox and opera can directly view the image just fine. What is causing this? I have to assume its a file type mime problem, but I cant be sure without further clarification.

http://www.onlytechnews.com <— is the address to the offending page! Please help!

jgdovin,

I can see your problem by directly browsing to the image in IE

It could be down to the filename length. If you upload the image to the server by ftp, can you see it?

The image has been run through a third party extension it so I am gonna move this to the extensions forum as other users may have experienced your problem.

thats fine, I will try changing the name real quick and see if that gets me anywhere, but I dont think so because all the images are being uploaded by the same plug-in and have a similar length

update: downloaded then re-uploaded the same file naming it test.jpg and still same problem!
