Strange Tome Behavior

We’re having a strange issue with the Tome module templates. One of our particular pages is using the default template despite being assigned a specific template. All other pages function properly when assigned a specific template.

We’re forced to use a workout by putting an if statement in the default template that checks for the particular seg_2, and embeds the proper template if found.

Has anyone ever had similar (seemingly random) issues?
