LG Quarantine and Captcha

Hello,

I’m not quite sure if this has been posted previously or not (a search yielded no similar results) but I’m curious if ExpressionEngine’s built-in captcha can be used with the LG Quarantine module? My initial attempt at incorporating a captcha (ie, placing “{if captcha} …captcha image and field… {/if}” within the quarantine form) did not get the captcha to display. And a bunch of comments are being quarantined due to bots filling out the form and submitting it with garbage content.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any insight into resolving this issue - either with captcha or another solution - would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks, Dominic

[Edit: forgot to put in the negative “not” so may have caused confusion. My apologies].
