Extension idea : Where are you Embedded?

Hi all,

I’m looking into putting together an extension that would place another div below “Template Notes” on the template editor. In the div would be a list of links to all templates that contain the currently edited template as an embed.

This way a developer could easily know which pages were dependent on the embed so edits could be more easily debugged.

Currently, I put a comment in the top of the embed or in the notes stating which templates I’ve embedded it on, but the Extension would minimize the back and forth upkeep of the notes that all too often get out of sync.

Before I go ahead with this I wanted to find out if anyone is interested in this extension. If so I’d make it available to the community. I’d also love ideas on potentially better implementations.
