I just updated to 1.8 and I get this error:

Notice: Undefined property: settings in ../system/plugins/pi.lg_better_meta_pl.php on line 104

I deleted the plugin/extension files and tried a fresh installation and I still get the same problem.

Getting the same error here after updating. Don’t know what to do…?

Update to PHP 5.

Put this in your .htaccess:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php5
AddHandler application/x-httpd-phpx .php5
Action application/x-httpd-phpx /php5/bin/php

Unfortunately, I cannot update to PHP5 for the server I am currently on. The site is for a large organization hosting many sites and PHP4 needs to remain on the server. We will be migrating all of the sites at some point, but is there a workaround for the time being?

Not that I’m aware of. It’s an error due to PHP5 short tags…I think.

Maybe there’s some way to parse short tags in PHP4?

Thanks for the help - I’ll look into short tags for PHP4 for now.
