I’ve had the Twitter Timeline plugin working for several days, and it stopped working today, with the error below (for illustration I used “my server path” instead of actual path): ERROR ……….. Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /(my server path)/plugins/pi.twitter_timeline.php on line 302 ……………….. I re-downloaded/installed the plugin. I also turned on the ee Template Debugger, which shows no problems. Still get error.

Anyone now why? Or how to fix?

Fixed it…got rid it! Using Magpie RSS instead!

will magpie rss auto convert the URLs embedded in some tweets as clickable links? How are you dealing with that?

Each tweet is linked to it’s Twitter post. Any hyperlinks posted are available there. You can see it here: http://www.gloryofgodcocoa.org/index.php?/weblog/comments/glory_is_getting_around/

We are getting the same and are now having a few problems with the plugin.

A site we were runnig it one fine now no longer works: http://wiredin.org.uk/families

If I copy the code below and try it on my own site it works fine: http://paulcripps.com/#work

the only differance I can see is that the site it breaks on is running EE 1.6.7 and the site it still works on is running 1.6.4

{exp:twitter_timeline type="user" user="" password="" limit="8" auto_link="true" link_usernames="true" twitter_refresh="10"}
<h5 class="date">{created_at format="%m/%d/%y"}</h5>
{text}
{/exp:twitter_timeline}

Hi all-

You may already have worked this out. I first tried this plugin today, and immediately got the issue you’re describing. I fixed it by replacing email with the twitter username (hoosteeno, for example). Once I did that, the plugin started working as it should (I think).

Good luck!

Justin
