i’m working on a site that featured 5 teams with 30 players each

I’m using playa for the first time

i basically have a team weblog and a player weblog, the player weblog contains 16 custom fields .

the team weblog has 5 entries for the 5 different teams all translated

the player weblog has 150 players’ bio all translated

basically i have to set it up like so

that once you are on a specific team page

you can ONLY view the players that belong to that team in a the sidebar of the site and… clicking on the thumbnail will take you to the specified players bio which will have the same related sidebar of thumbnails like the teams page

from my understanding

i should create a new playa custom field on the team side of the weblog and set the relationship from there.

so i created the field but nothing shows up besides the instruction for the new field,

figured out how to get the related playersto match their respective teams.

now i’m trying to figure out how to set it up that…

that when a user is viewing the bio of player1 from team1 they see all the related players of team 1 on the individual player page that is using the player weblog

up to now i’ve managed to either pull all the players of every single team and not the one related to the player 1 form team 1 or none at all

and if you are viewing a player from team2 you shoudl only view players of tema two in the sidebar and so on with every team, just like the page team is displaying.

thanks for taking the time to help me out with this, really appreciate it
