I have an issue where I’m only getting the first 7 seconds of audio. Any ideas what’s happening?

Just an update to say I found that you need to declare the length of the audio file in seconds for it to play properly, no way to auto detect that though so it needs a manual calculation.

Having the same issue as another poster though with the Google tracking, add in plugin= and the movie disappears.

Steven,

That’s very odd, you SHOULDN’T have to declare the length of your audio. Do you have your MP3s encoded as VBR? Because most of the Flash players don’t really like VBR, they’d prefer a CBR file. That could be your issue.

not sure Adrienne - the audio guys at church take to do with that. All I said was I wanted the mp3s to be a max of 12Mb.

Adding the length though has sorted my issue.

I really like this plugin and have had success with it in the past, but on a current project I am having trouble with the flv file not showing up.

I would appreciate some guidance. Thanks.

Note: this has been resolved - the path to the video file was missing a lone ‘s’.

It’s all working great on my site too.

However, I’d also like a sample frame from the videos to display instead of the black screen at the start.

Is this possible with this plugin? I’m not using Youtube, I’m hosting the Flash videos myself.

Thanks.

Great plugin I am using this on a site that I require multiple instances running on a single page and in the past I was able to stop 1 instance if I clicked on another instance to start playing. I seem to be overlooking that parameter right now. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

Can anyone else confirm this does not work in IE6?

Any idea what could be causing the issue that player controls always remain visible, play & stop work for video (but stop does not work for audio) and pause does not work at all?

Has anyone experienced this sort of problem?

Question rescinded. For future reference, the problem was with the video file.

Has anyone had any success in being able to utilise JW player plugins with this EE plugin?

I still have the issue whereby adding plugin values makes my player disappear.

EDIT: I moved it to a test page. I have the playlist showing, but no video player.

Here’s the link to show you: test page removed.

If you click the video, it loads and starts playing. You can hear the audio, but no video shows.

Man, that’ll be great! I am presently struggling through figuring out the best way to manage my audio files and playlists, and this plugin will most definitely be very helpful! Just gotta wait for version 2. 😊 Thanks a ton for the work!
