LG Better Meta Causing SQL Errors When Updating from Version 1.4.2 to 1.8.0

Hi,

I’ve been using an older version of LG Better Meta (1.4.2), but recently I decided to upgrade as there is currently no documentation for the older version. So I disabled the old extension, downloaded and copied the appropriate files for the new extension. Unfortunately, however, there appears to be an issue of some kind.

Based on the MySQL errors I’ve been getting, it looks like LG Better Meta thinks that it’s been updated to the latest version when in reality the database changes required by the upgrade don’t exist, leading to this error:

MySQL ERROR:

Error Number: 1054

Description: Unknown column 'exp_lg_better_meta.include_in_sitemap' in 'field list'

Query: (very long SQL query, I'll spare you all unless someone requests to see it)

I did some digging around in the files myself, but I can’t find anything in the code that would indicate how to trigger the extension to make the database changes again. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you solve it?

Thanks in advance for your help!
