How do I add an action button for a checkbox in a row of a CP/Table view?

I’ve created a table using CP/Table Service and added a checkbox to each row. However, when I click it, nothing happens. I assume I need to add some action button into the bottom of the table (like you do with CP/Pagination) but I’m not sure how. I cannot find it in the docs.
How do I do this?
