Hi all,

EE 3 shipped with glyphicons, useful when you need some icons.

But in EE 3.1 not all glyphicons are included in the font file.

Example: glyphicons-minus (“E434”) and glyphicons-plus (“E433”)

Can the complete font library be included? Difference is only ~20k

P.S. Why glyphicons and not Font Awesome? Filesize difference?

Hi,

The entire glyphicon library should not be included, it should be limited only to the icons we use in the app.

I chose glyphicons over font awesome as a preference nothing else.

I’m gonna “+1” this as well. It’s pretty odd that we would essentially have to include a second copy of something that is partially there already if we need an icon that you guys did not pre-approve… 😊

The Glyphicons license doesn’t allow us to offer it as a tool kit for third party add ons to use. If you want to use Glyphicons that aren’t in the style guide you will need to buy a Glyphicons license for your add on.
