So, I just moved a clients site from my development server to their live server, and everything is working fine with the exception of being able to update one of the global variables.
When I try to update the content of one of the pre-existing variables with an http url path in the content field, I get an error page with “Erro, The page you requested was not found.”
I tried clearing the cache. No luck. The htaccess file is set up and working to remove index.php from my URLs, so I don’t think it’s an htaccess problem. I think more things would be broken if it was an htaccess problem. I checked all my server paths to make sure I had changed them all after the server switch.
[Update] After experimenting with the problem, I’ve discovered that if you put “http:/” in the content field, it will produce the error. Anything other than that, including just a “:” or “/”, works fine, but “http:/” produces the error.
Has anyone else come across this? I’m running EE v2.10.2 on a MacHighway server with PHP Version 5.4.32.
