Waring dialogue prior to being logged out

Please can we have a shiny new dialogue/pop-up to warn of impending automatic log-outs? An option to remain logged in would be great too.
I’ve been burned several times while editing for prolonged periods without resubmitting content only to find I’m logged-out without warning and my edits are lost.

We actually already have this. After a period of time, a dialog should come up and prompt you to enter your password again, I see it daily. But, if you wait too long, you will be logged out, so maybe you’re waiting exceptional periods of time? About how long does it take for you to be logged out?
Sorry for my delayed reply. I can’t be precise at the moment because it hasn’t happened in a while. I’m going to keep an eye on things and note down the specifics as and when it happens, then post back if it’s a recurring problem.
