I think this should perhaps be a bug report?

Uploaded images will end up a complete mess with the way it works at the moment.

When resizing there is no constraint to ratio, so you get squished looking images.

When cropping it asks for coordinates or where to crop from, I don’t think non-technical people will understand, and without any on screen pointer it will be a guess.

It doesn’t refresh after crop or resize, so you still see the original before editing.

EE2 has all these features, why hasn’t EE3? I thought we were out of the beta stage and EE3 was production ready?

I’d like to second that the inability to constrain to ratio when resizing, makes EE3’s image tools somewhat useless. It’s a standard feature in most image editors, and strange because the ability to do this existed in earlier versions of EE.

I agree there are still a lot of features 2 had that we only recently got back or we are still waiting for. I would have thought these would have returned much sooner as we are just about a year into 3. I still want a simple overwrite confirmation modal when you upload files with the same name.
