I’m trying to make the Default CP homepage to link to a specific template group I set up under templates manager in EE. The point is to make some pages containing custom informations for specific user groups, that will be displayed every time they log in.

Tried linking to a template with /group, www.siteurl.com/group, and some other options, but non of them work. Is it possible to link to the templates built inside of ee and if so, what structure would the url need to be or do I need to place template I want to link to in some specific folder or what is the approach to this? There isn’t any info on this in the user guide, except the sentence saying that you use that option to set custom default cp homepage for the specific member group.

Hi Senad,

It sounds like you are trying to set the Default CP Homepage to a front-end URL and not a CP URL, which is not supported. If you are not wanting your members to be in the CP, but you want them to login there is a Login Form Tag available for your templates. You can also control the post-login redirect.
