Unable to post comment as a Super Admin

EE: 3.1.2

Have an odd thing I haven’t experienced before … when logged in as a Super Admin I cannot add a comment to blog posts… I am presented the correct for but when I hit “Submit” I get the

“You are not allowed to post comments” message.

Odd thing, If I use another web browser (where I am NOT logged into the system) I can post a comment as a Guest just fine… however, after the post it returns me to the URL I was posting from but the page is blank.

Any thoughts on this? I have been through all the settings & It seems kind of odd..
