How Do I?

Hey

Does anyone know how to make 301 redirects in a htaccess work with the official EE index.php rewrite on a server where PHP is running as FastCGI. For me the new URI is appended to the current URI after a question mark like so /old/uri/?/new/uri/

Thanks

Not sure if this helps, but this is what I’m using & it works great… I left out all the other htaccess stuff as I assume you’re using the same as provided in the docs like me.

Redirect /old http://website.com/new/url

Using: Redirect 301 /old http://website.com/new/url

This fine a server running PHP as apache, but not as FastCGI.
