No problem, and not a waste of my time. 😊

I’m having the same problem on a new EE 3.3.2 installation.

Fatal error: Call to a member function accepts_content_type() on a non-object in /home/sites/domainname.com/public_html/system/ee/EllisLab/Addons/grid/libraries/Grid_lib.php on line 663

I’ve tried uninstalling and installing RTE, but not luck. I’ve also tried leaving RTE uninstalled, but no luck there either.

Hi Oliver,

This could be a case where you had a 2.x fieldtype add-on installed, but it hasn’t been updated for 3.x, so the system goes looking for the fieldtype, doesn’t find that it’s available for 3.x, and fails to fail gracefully. If you take a look at your exp_fieldtypes table, do you see any listed there that you do not see in the Add-On Manager?

It turned out to be a problem with CartThrob 3.0.1 and compatibility with Grid fields in the end. They have issued me with a hotfix, but apparently it’s going to be fixed in their next release (this week or next week).
