Link file entries to channel entry – URGENT, Deadline tomorrow
How Do I?
Hello,
I have a number of pictures assigned to a category called slider because I want to use them on a homepage slider using the file entries tag. Some of these pictures are tied to an entry, others are not. How can I add a channel entry link to the tied pictures? (I want to avoid opening a regular entry for each picture just for the purpose of displaying the tied ones with the channel entries tag). Is id-path right here or does it only show the linked pic instead of the entire entry?

Update: I had a try and id-path obviously is not the way to go. Any other ideas how to accomplish this?
Update 2: How about checking if a picture already exists in the channel entries database table and displaying the link depending on the result? Anybody out there who knows how to check for database entries???
