We’ve followed the upgrade instructions, including the “copy the database.php file to user/config/ but when trying to get to the upgrade wizard it gives us:
Exception Caught
You must define the following database parameters: database
DBConfig.php:157
ee_wizard shows everything is great… we can’t seem to figure out what the problem is.

Did you ever solve this issue? It’s come up for me now as well.

Happened to me just now as well updating to 3.4.5
I copied the DB settings from the old database.php to /site/wwwroot/system/ee/EllisLab/ExpressionEngine/Service/Database/DBConfig.php
Then I had to rename the installer_3.4.5 folder back to just be installer and run the update again.
