Metaweblog MarsEdit Error in EE2.11.1

Hi,

I’ve been using MarsEdit and EE2.x routinely for years. I just updated my main site to EE2.11.1 today, and now any communication from MarsEdit to EE gives, e.g.

“Can’t post for <blog> because the server reported an error: This is not a known method for this XML-RPC Server”

I see that the Metaweblog API has changed from 2.1 to 2.2, but I don’t know at which release of EE that was effective. I’ve had a look in the module to see if I can find anything, but, well, I use EE partly so I don’t have to bother with that stuff 😊

I guess I’m an extreme edge case … but it’s worth asking if anybody has seen, or better, solved this issue ? I’m not ready to migrate to 3.x yet, so that’s not a solution (even if it works - who knows).
