Channel Form Display issue : EE3.3.3

How Do I?

I have done a little looking around & come up with nothing on this specific issue.. I have created a channel Form and have it displaying on my page, but the styling seems messed up. I’m using the Latest Bootstrap & manually building my input fields (copying from the docs)

I have included the Channel Form CSS & in my channel form tag am using “include_assets=”yes”

Any thoughts as to the issue? The form works fine, just the display is wonky…

In the attached image - reference the placement of the Datepicker (in the lower corner ) and display of the checkboxes

Also, I’d like to remove the “localized” & “Fixed” radio buttons

Thanks.

I think this is just a CSS issue - conflicts between Classes in Bootstrap and EE Channel Form stylesheets.

I haven’t begun to debug this yet - am hoping EllisLab might be able to fix this for us, sooner rather than later. 😉

I was thinking the same thing …. but I had noticed that you at least had your Picker positioned up near the Date field so I was hoping I can at least achieve that.

The Checkboxes I’m just going to need to hack the CSS I think … I just haven’t gotten to it yet & was hoping there might be a simple solution.

Thanks. R

I am using Bootstrap v3.0.0 so I don’t know if that makes a difference. Maybe try commenting out all of your own CSS to find out which line(s) are making the difference.

We have some improvements in the works for the CSS that’s output with channel forms when you need those assets (Grid, Relationships, RTE, etc.). For now you’ll probably want to either use overrides or inline styles where you have conflicts.
