EE 3.3.2: bulk editing comments sets ALL comments to the newly selected status

Hello,

We are experiencing the following issue with EE Comments (the standard built-in comments, not an addon):

When we go into the list of comments, select more than one comment (check off the box at the end of the row in the Comments control panel screen), then select “—with selected—” -> Close and click submit, ALL comments are marked as “closed”, not just the ones that had been selected. Similarly, when we select some number of comments and try to reopen them, everything gets marked as Open.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an EE fix or a configuration change that can be applied?
