I had to shut down my site and start all over again due to several database errors, and EE related bugs. not mention that few addons were there making site life impossible.

I have looked at the bug tracker and list seems to be too long, so wondering is there any real update coming that fixes cache related and other issues that EE itself has.

Found from Twitter few notes too like commented out core things are still parsed?

Seems that everyone are offline, addon developers and Ellislab, so something is going on atm. Worth of waiting the next “stable” release???

Both EE 2.x and EE 3.x are stable. The bug tracker will always have a long list of issues as that’s how software works. For example, Facebook releases a new version of their app every week to address issues.

The best approach would be for you to post the issues you’re having on the right forum to get the help you need.

I echo what Pedro said, EE2 and 3 are stable, personally I’ve not had much issue with bugs, and the ones that have affected me have usually been fixed in the next release, or solution provided in the bug tracker.

I also have to echo and say that there is certainly nothing wrong with the current version of EE 2 or 3. I have stable sites running on both versions.
