Or has Expression Engine forums taken a dump? Or is it the whole Ellis Lab team? I can’t figure it out.

I see tons of support questions, which most (when google searching) direct me to archived topic that are no longer active, or take you to Ellis Lab 404 page. Very disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm… especially for EE3.

And kinda sad too, this is my go to CMS for my clients.

You’ll do much better thanking those who have already helped you, rather than complaining that you have not yet received the support you want. Just a reminder that this is free support, and when someone helps you it’s out of their own good will.

Most EE developers I know are actually quite happy with what’s happening with EE3 and how quickly it’s moving along.

You may also try to get some help on the EE slack channel.

No complaints, don’t take it out of context. I’m just worried because of the lack of activity that its dying off and keeping my fingers crossed it’s not. As I said, this is my go to CMS for all of my clients.

Thanks Remaining hopelessly optimistic.

The activity is in the Slack channel, which is a more modern avenue than a forum. Have you signed up? An invitation request is right on the Community page: https://ellislab.com/community

Why have I not heard of Slack Channel, if that’s where all the EE Community activity is? I use these forums quite a bit but didn’t realise we need to be looking elsewhere.

The forums are useful for longer form questions that have a longer life cycle. But a lot of chit chat and general specifics of how to get something done happens in Slack.

I concur with TJ. I think that in general “forums” have become a niche with the age of fast moving communication like Twitter, and IRC – I mean Slack 😉
