Hi Guys,

This is a weird one.

Yesterday I spent the whole day making Channel field updates. At the end of the day, I notified my client, but she said she couldn’t see any of the new fields. I double checked the edit entry layouts had been updated and saved (for all users). Logged Out. Logged In with a different browser. Of course they are there and I told her to try again.

This morning she repeated that no one can see the updates and when I log in - they have completely vanished. Not in the edit layout. Not in Channel Admin. Not in the CP Log. Not in the ‘channel_fields’ DB table.

I did notice a strange discrepancy in the SQL Manager listing of the ‘channel_fields’ table where my new fields arent listed - even if I clear all caches. If you view the screenshots, notice field ID#295 is not in the table?

I’ve asked the SysAdmin to check if the database was restored yesterday or something. But I thought I’d ask here if anyone might have an idea?

The field updates were mostly of type ‘Field Pack - Pill’ and they have all vanished.

Specs:

EE2 v2.9.2

MSM

Field Pack v2.2

I should also mention that the site is hosted on 2 x load balanced servers connected to a single DB server, but has been active for 12 months without issue.

Is there anything else I should check?

CJ
