We’re setting up a form to allow guest users to reserve rooms in our facility. The way it works is that a user goes to a page on the site, selects the room desired from a drop down menu, then goes to a calendar page that allows her to select the time desired, which takes her to a form page.
Previously, we didn’t save the information from this form in the database. It was put into an email that went off to our events coordinator and then discarded. Now, we’re trying to save the contents in the form so we can display it on the site for users with the proper permissions.
Now, however, for reasons we can’t determine, the form is no longer displaying for guest users or for anyone logged into the site with lower level permissions.
We have set up the form to allow guests to post entries in this situation so we can save the contents.
My assistant tells me that he thinks the issue is that just setting the guest author on Channel Form Settings to Guest isn’t adequate, that we need to assign it to an actual user with the appropriate permissions.
Anyone else have any ideas?
You can see a room request form page here:

At the moment, you can’t view the form, though.
Thanks.
