Merging channels and file upload locations

Two channels that function as galleries, each with its own file upload location. Lets call them channel A and file location A and channel B and file location B. If I import channel B’s entries into channel A and upload file location B’s images to file location A, what do I need to change on channel B’s entries to point them to file location A?

You will need to change any instances of {filedir_X} to {filedir_Y}, but otherwise that should be all, unless I’m forgetting something.
