How to obtain URL of PDF uploaded via file manager

How Do I?

Using EE2.9 my clients used to be able to upload a PDF in the file manager and then obtain the URL for it by clicking on the “File Name” link. They would then copy/paste that URL so that they could create links to that file (either within the main copy on the website or in an email). In EE3.5.1 the file name is shown directly below the title (in a combined Title/Name column) and is no longer clickable.

Is there an alternative (and easy) way for my clients to obtain the URLs of PDF files uploaded via the file manager that doesn’t involve them remembering the URL of the directory and having to type that and the name of the file itself? Typically they want the URL to create links in the main copy of an entry (they are currently using the standard RTE to edit the main copy).

Thanks for any guidance.
