Hi all,

I use Laravel a lot and the use of the whole .env system is a serious time saver when working on a site between various servers/machines.

Like most, I usually dev locally and then move the site to a production server by using git/ssh. I know it’s a minor thing but going in and reconfiguring the config file only for git to throw back “cannot merge because this would overwrite your local files blah blah blah” is a little frustrating/time consuming.

Having a .env file system where we could set up multiple environments would be very cool, is it something that could be implemented?

I hope this makes sense, been a long day

Andy
