Reporter: Nick Sherman (https://expressionengine.com/support/bugs/23002/title-field-should-allow-html-cite-tag)

In the titles of blog entries I often cite the names of creative works. For example, something like: “My favorite book is Moby Dick”. Ideally, one could mark up such titles with the tag in order to italicize them, like so: “My favorite book is Moby Dick”.

I realize ExpressionEngine currently allows the tag in the title field, but is more semantically accurate and specific to this kind of use of italics. It is also conceivable that someone may wish to stylize the name of creative works with something other than italicization. Judging by the tags you already allow in the title field for other text-level elements, it seems the tag should also be allowed.
