File type image not allowing svg files

SVG files are images and should be allowed in image file type fields

I agree, given that a good number of modern designs include the use of SVG files, it would be a good idea to include these within the accepted image file types.

While they are typically used to produce images in modern web design, they are also code files.

If you want to allow them, you may do so using the config overrides (https://docs.expressionengine.com/latest/general/system_configuration_overrides.html), but we don’t allow them by default, for security reasons.
