Freeform 4.x can't display Message field

I am using {freeform:field:message} which I thought would work since {freeform:field:email} pulls up the email field.

I can’t find anywhere in the documentation or in the module itself the short names for the default fields?

Most likely I am not seeing it and this is entirely user error but uff da!!!
