Feature Request: Ability to manipulate entire field groups in Channel Layouts

It would be nice if we could order field within a field group, and when adding that field group to a channel have the ability to somehow flag it as being organized by the group. Then, when creating a layout for the channel you could move the entire field group as a whole around (retaining the ability to hide fields), instead of having to move each individual field.

Some use cases could be SEO fields, contact information fields, etc.
