Bulk Edit Entries

With a new category group recently created, I wanted to add entries filtered by an existing category to various new categories - in bulk. This functionality existed in EE2, but is not available in EE3. It was noted in February, but still nothing? https://expressionengine.com/forums/topic/249015/bulk-edit-gone-in-ee3-control-panel

The Category assignment is so clumsy with lots of categories, that I have to use a Channel Form to achieve what should be a very simple task.
