Setup Site with Multi-Vendor Capability

I would like to setup an eBay like site (not auctions) that would allow my members to sell products on a marketplace portion of the site. If this is not available, can it actually be done? Can mods be made for Cart Throb or anything else (much like Dokan, WC Vendors, etc have done with Woocommerce in Wordpress). I have a 3.5x license, would update to 4 if needed.
